OK! Newbie here.
Any thoughts on the practicality/safety of using my car (towing hook) as an anchor for one end of my slackline?

we wouldn't recommend using a car to rig your slackline - Trees are usually the best to set your line up to (just remember to protect the trees)

MemberYou could use your car as the ground anchor part of an A-frame setup.
i.e. roll a wheel over the end of the line instead of using a stake in the ground.
(ive not tried this, but it might be worth a go)I have however rigged a line from the back of a pickup truck and nearly pulled the whole back section off the truck. The forces involved are bigger than you might imagine!
